omg he was joking. and a joke like that made you delete your fb? I think you need to get out in the real world and get some adult interaction |
Sounds like it was more than just this guy. I suspect that OP got lots of "unkind" comments and that's why she deleted her account. |
Most of my friends would choose to take the high road and just not respond, like kind adults. Replying with a rude comment is no better than a tone deaf post. And also, you’re making stuff up. |
What are you so spun about about? Certainly her post wouldn’t bother adults secure in their own choices? Again, it can’t be unsaid. |
+1 I feel like you just justified all the people who say that SAHMs whose kids are in school do nothing all day. Well done! |
You are being petty. |
No, there's nothing wrong with it. But then don't be a SAHM who gets all bent out of shape when people either ask what you do all day or comment on how SAHMs do nothing. |
It’s not a contest for who has the least amount of free time people! Half of you are here whining about how OP is tone deaf for saying she has some free time as you sit here wasting hours on a message board! Then you’re going to pretend you’re “working”. |
Likewise, neighbor boy shouldn’t be surprised when she says no. |
Not petty
|
So should I charge my friends when their kids play at my house? Or if I take another kid to a birthday party? |
SAHMs don't have to be tending to their children at all times of every day. HOWEVER, they can't also want to have everyone think they work 24/7 when they post about doing nothing while their kids are in school. Are you all really that dense? |
This was priceless. |
My STBX would totally pull this crap because he still has a lot.of unresolved issues about our decision for me to become a SAHM and how that impacted our marriage.
I hope you'd smile and tell him "no." |
