| Jerry left L'ville and is back at Navarro? One of his cheer moms needs to talk to him about moving on and growing up and thinking about the future. |
| I am guessing he and Morgan returned to participate in a second season of the series (if there is one). I read somewhere that Varsity is forbidding anyone from competing in Daytona if they are involved in a documentary like this. |
Insert gif of Bill Seeley saying “I’ve heard people say we’re controlling” |
Wtf are you talking about? |
It's new regulations coming from the national cheerleaders association and national dance alliance. |
“Controlling is such a strong word” |
He’s awful. Varsity is a crap company. |
What an insightful and helpful comment.

| I'm really hoping for a season two although the odds aren't looking so good right now. I loved seeing the dedication to the sport but also learning about the individuals and their unique life stories. So well done. |
| I don't understand why Morgan is still hanging around. Didnt she graduate? why don't these kids move on to a four year school and cheer some more. Poor morgan, i cant believe the only encouragement from her grandparents was to become nail tech |
Yes, I was a little confused by why the school is allowing her to stay. Why didn't they counsel her out to transition to a 4-year school? And to be fair, I think her grandparents were saying to own a nail salon, not just be a nail tech. |
| I think Lexi has a brain injury. Not only has she been in serious fights, she also showed pictures of herself after a car accident where she went head first through a windshield. |

I find/found the whole cheer culture a bit strange. Not necessarily bad, it’s clearly a lifeline for these kids. But The women dress in these flashy outfits with big bows, big hair, and tons of makeup to essentially get thrown around by a team of guys...that seems like a bigger risk to them.
As for Monica, my only beef with her is the speech she gave to them when she said “I have a master’s degree and could be in NYC making lots of money, but I gave it up for your guys...” or something. It just felt wrong. |
My brother's face went through a windshield when he was 16. He's a husband, father, CPA and lawyer. He doesn't have a brain injury. You should not diagnose people. Even if you were a doctor (which I highly doubt), halfway decent doctors don't diagnose people they haven't met with, examined and run tests on. You don't have any facts to decide Lexi has a TBI. Sit down. |
I’ve seen pictures floating around of her and Austin in Texas Tech uniforms. I think she ultimately did transfer out. I liked the show but I don’t think I want another season. The moment that they captured seemed appropriate, another season seems like it would be more of the same but this time everyone is trying to become famous too. |
