Southern charm of Charleston

Craig's outbursts: it's his ADHD. He's a lot like a little kid who doesn't know how to handle his emotions, anger, frustrations, etc. He would probably benefit from ADHD meds to help him balance a little better. Does he still have that life coach? I think she was helping.

Shep: he's never going to grow up. While I think he's pickled his brain, he's a pretty good judge of character which leads me back to Madison being a snake. I think there is more to the story, but it's probably him knowing more about her.

And did Whitney and Katherine hook up or is that something the two of them hatched to cause intrigue for this season?

Ashley: can you believe she's a palliative care nurse?

Craig may be having side affects from adhd meds. Some of them make you ragey until you adjust to them. It is very hard finding the right meds for ADHD.

What will the cast do without their Bravo paychecks when the show gets cancelled? Lazy pillow sewing, a Gwynn's spokesperson and a non-existent Trop Hop beer won’t cut it.

Rumor has it she 'yachts' for money.

I don't believe it. I think her house is sponsored by the owner.

There’s definitely something up with the house especially with that stupid commercial about decorating it for her. And she was just there for filming, right?

WTH was Kathryn wearing to that party? Unbelievable. Like a giant heart up top with a see-through bottom.

What does it mean to "yacht" for money? Not familiar with that phrase!

C/D list actresses and models are paid escorts on yacht’s owned by billionaire. LiLo and Megan Markle are/were supposedly “yacht girls”. Imo if they really were, there’d be tons of pics. Someone would have sold them out. Same with Katherine.

I watched the season finale last night. What is up with Shep? He has an inordinate amount of anger towards Austin and Madison.

I generally like Shep (I know I'm in the minority) but his conversations with Cam and Austen at the party were awful. He seems to be losing it and not be able to control the vindictive and elitist streak he has. He also couldn't stop shaking his leg and moving his head strangely when he spoke with Austen. Something about it was unsettling and he doesn't seem well.

Madison didn't want him and he feels entitled to having any girl he wants and so he feels a lot of anger toward her directly and Austen indirectly. They showed a flashback of Shep trying to flirt with Madison and Madison not being interested. Same way he felt entitled to kiss Chelsea even when she stated she wasn't interested in Shep. Shep has an entitlement problem.

The custody case has been settled and now Katherine has joint custody. https://radaronline.com/exclusives/2019/08/kathryn-dennis-wins-joint-custody-with-thomas-ravenel/

Seems odd that Thomas still has primary legal custody.

Just watched the season finale. Shep has major issues and boy does Madison have his number. Makes him seriously insecure. Love her for standing up to his bullying and egotism. He literally squirms in his seat when she talks to him. Yes she was reactive and blurted out a nasty but she clearly regretted it and Danni was gracious to forgive her. Although I do think Shep lied to Austen (or it’s even the truth) about Danni so Shep is the one to blame in all of this is the end. He’s a disaster of a human.

Another clear train wreck is Ashley. And a fool to try to take on a master manipulator like Patricia. Good luck with that.

I used to think that Ashley was just the most transparent at causing artificial drama to try and achieve her 15 minutes of D-list celebrity fame but now I'm beginning to think she's bipolar. And she is definitely poking the wrong bear with Patricia.

I love how Ashley’s friend looked mortified when Ashley asked if she should call 911. Apparently Thomas suggested this? So the police show up and do what? Arrest Ashley for trespassing? That’s great advice. These people are hilarious! I think it’s why I watch - makes me feel like I might actually be a reasonably rational person!

I don't think she really talked to Thomas. All set up by the producers.

It’s interesting that some of the biggest drama of the season involved 2 people who are not full-time cast members - Madison and Danni. I guess they won’t be on the couch at the beginning of the reunion, but hopefully they’ll be brought in at some point. I don’t think Danni wants to be a full-time cast member, but Madison definitely earned a spot for next season, I think. Eliza was a nothing-burger. Switch her out for Madison.

Why are women attracted to Austen? Have we figured that out yet?
