1. She’s undeniably thin.
2. She’s had three children in under five years, one of whom is still an infant, and had difficult pregnancies with each. That’s a lot, even with help.
3. Mid to late 30s is normally the time when women’s faces lose their youthful fat. Check out the aging backwards thread in the beauty forum that contains many accounts of posters’ experiences with this.

Listen, I think she’s beautiful. Doesn’t mean there won’t be photos that sometimes capture a harsher expression. She is human, after all.

Thirty years later Diana is still not Queen, also dead, and divorced. Also not a mother of a King.
