I could see Kate being...Kate...enough to actually struggle with this decision or even momentarily decide to go for Mike. But consider the glimpses into her actually being a mom -- like the scene where she sees the photo of her baby sitting up for the first time. Or even the end of season 2 where she jettisons the "opportunity of a lifetime" with that French-Canadian Anna Wintour-wannabe and books it home to get to her sick baby. I think that's the Kate that will ultimately prevail. The mom instinct is damn hard to overcome. Thank God. Or whomever/whatever is responsible for that hard-wiring needed to propagate the human species.

It definitely can't work with the side dude long term. It's hard to see Kate pass on this work opportunity, though.

I would like Kate to have an awesome, exciting 3-month relationship with Mike and then have him move to Asia or something and she goes back to her husband. But yes to more of hot Mike! Weird comment but did anyone notice how big his hands are?

Yes, I really disliked of the main characters by the end of last season. I just watched the first episode of this season and I still really dislike them and it was irritating to watch. Unless DCUM tells me to stick with the season, I think I am done with this show.
