Prince Charles' 70th Birthday family Portraits

This probably sounds like a stupid question, but when do Kate and Meghan have the time to choose all the outfits they wear publicly? It seems like they’re always at an event, and I know how difficult it is to select a flattering, appropriate dress for myself for an event. I know they have help, but does this take up a lot of their time—trying things on, having them tailored, etc.? How exhausting!

Neither of them have jobs. It's not as hard as it sounds to let your assistant make an appointment with your stylist and one day a week devote 4-5 hours to trying things on and deciding on whether its worth it.

Plus Kate re-wears a lot of stuff she's acquired over 8 years so that takes even less time.

The Mormon Royal look is spreading. Which is too bad because Charlene is one of the most gorgeous royals in Europe. She could be showstopping if she tried but I never get the feeling she's interested in being a fashion powerhouse.

Yes, I’m always impressed by how much Kate rewears her clothes. Wonder if Meghan will do the same.

If you put that photo in black and white, Kate would look like Wednesday Adams with that dress.

I think she will. Though she had and currently has to buy a lot of clothes which allow for an adjusting mid-section. They'll be great to re-wear in future pregnancies at the very least.

I actually like her dress better than Meghan's. The bare arms are distracting (to me) whereas the blue blends more with William's outfit.

Agree.

Not a fan of the sleeveless dress. Not so much that it’s distracting as much as it’s not seasonally appropriate and doesn’t fit in with the other outfits. But maybe the pics were taken a couple of months ago.
The kids are wearing short sleeves, shorts, and bare legs. Is that seasonally appropriate?

Prince George is wearing shorts because as a four-year-old, that is all he wears. Shorts. Not trousers.

Charlotte is wearing a dress.

Prince George is five, born in 2013

The photo was taken on September 5th.

Fine. He is still too young for trousers, according to royal family tradition.

The first thing that caught my eye was how unattractive Will has become. And he has a really sour expression on his face too. He used to be so good looking back in the day, I can’t believe he looks like this now.

For the man who has 'everything', he sure looks unhappier every day. I agree - he's a sourpuss.

Modern prairie is really big right now.

Kind of interesting interpretation of royal photo by face-reading expert—-

William looks annoyed, Harry looks angry, Kate is tired, Meghan is anxious!

Yes, I know. It's a terrible look and honestly I think its worse than the 80s puffy dress look. I don't know why people willingly dress themselves up to look like poor farmers.

Fergie wore a lot of poor choices in the 80s too.

Charlene’s dress is not terrible — she should have unbuttoned the top 2-3 buttons, though. I think it is understated and pretty for the ribbon-cutting ceremony to which she wore it.

She's the highest ranking female Royal in Monaco. She should look the part of a Princess. Instead she's dressed like someone's spinster aunt from Little House on the Prairie. Say what you want but Albert looks suave and debonair. The only thing I like about Charlene here is her soft smile because even her makeup is severely understated and I can see exactly how tired she is in that photo.
