| Kate’s dress is a little ridiculous. But she look lovely in the back holding Louis. Meghan looks great but clearly they were told the color of the day was blue. And she chose a white and black dress? Kate at least stuck to the rules. |
Kate's dress is ridiculous if chosen to wear on her own. But for a family pic where you all just have to look classic, pulled-together, and in the color scheme, it's a win. |
Quoted PP here. It's her arm against Harry's suit that stands out to me. Camilla's legs against the wooden bench blend in more. |
I agree. |
Looks identical to dress worn by Meghan’s Suits castmast to her wedding. I love it on Kate for this portrait. Not so much for a royal wedding, |
She should have worn navy. |
Hmm. Here is her Majesty in February 1969
|
So did she not get the color scheme memo or did she just refuse to abide by it, I wonder? Either way would make it seem like there are issues brewing. |
Still think this is more acceptable because: 1) it is inside 2) the color (white is a much more summery color than hot pink, which can be worn yearround) 3) the style of the dress is much more of a classic cut and less form-fitting |
| Megan's dress does abide by the color scheme - its white (like Camilla's) with dark navy accents (closer to the color of William's suit than Harry's). |
I know. It doesn't look good, that's for sure. IF I were her friend or her mom, I'd glance at it and immediately be like, "What happened???" |
| Kind of sick of Meghan’s bare arms and skin tight dresses. She needs to learn to be a lady. It’s funny social climbing. She just doesn’t have that aristocratic air. |
Duchess Kate in March 2017 (still winter)
|
1) it's inside 2) it's a dark colored dress 3) it looks like some sort of a cocktail affair, judging by the high tables to the side in the photo |
Scratch off your final three sentences and I agree with you. I am a little sick of Meghan's bare arms and skin tight dresses, but she is a lady. She has that aristocratic air. But her clothing choices sometimes could be improved, which is why I am suggesting she not have picked that form-fitting, *white*, sleeveless dress --------- for an official family portrait for her FIL's 70th birthday. This type of occasion loudly calls out for a CLASSIC and SAFE wardrobe choice. |
