Not the same thing, quite using the holocaust to spread hyperbolic imagery and virtue signal.

What is the issue is figuring out who they are before we let them run in unidentified. Also, what do you do about this situation of an illegal separating someone’s kid from their lives?

DP, moderate. The parents don’t have the option to turn around, as I understand it. Someone will correct me identify I’m wrong, I’m sure.

THANK YOU. Nicer response than the hater above, calling me a moron and a GD liar. If the parents cannot turn around, I have more sympathy, but the parents need to be more responsible knowing this is likely to happen. I blame the parents.

Also, from what I understand, they are separating children when they cannot determine the true familial relationship, and they are catching thousands of adults with children not their own.

Moron.

This is a crisis. And, it was NOT created by this administration. Another problem that needs to be cleaned up by Trump.

So, those of you complaining, hating, and blaming Trump - what exactly is your solution?
- What do you do with children who come through the border with someone who is not family?
- What do you do with children who come over unaccompanied?
- What do you do with children who come over with a parent who breaks the law by entering illegally?
- Where do you propose these family units are held, given that space is limited?
- Specifically, how do we enforce our border laws?

Catch and release, as practiced by previous administrations is not an option. It was one of the policies that caused this problem. Most of those caught and released are still here today, hiding from authorities.

How do we deal with these facts:

Since this time last year, there has been a 325% increase in unaccompanied children entering illegally.
Since this time last year, there has been a 435% increase in family units entering illegally.
Over the last 10 years, there has been a 1,700% increase in asylum claims.
We are experiencing an asylum backlog of 600,000 cases.
Since 2014, the US has admitted more than half a million illegal minors and family units, most of whom are still at large in the US.

You’ve offered no proof of your facts. Where’s your cite? Pulling numbers from some shady bunch of racists like CIS, and aware of how deservedly reviled they are? What in God’s name is the justification for implementing this SPECIFIC TRUMP POLICY? You cool with border agents mocking terrified preK/K/elem kids who don’t know, literally are deliberately not told, if they will **ever** see their parents again?

You’re a faux everything - news reader, intellectual, human. Your wall of bullshit text is just that.

These were the specific numbers given by Kirstjen Nielsen at the press briefing today. I took notes.
And, again.... more bitching and moaning and no solutions.

I already asked this question. The responses were ''Fascists" "But Melania" and other default crap.
One poster replied : "Do what previous administration did". Previous administration separated kids from parents and caged unaccompanied minors like dogs.
There was and there is no outrage about Obama's practices and the only change it will take to calm them down is to bring Obama back into the WH - caging children, separating families can remain the same. That's their plan.

DP from the above.
YOU are the worthless fool typing out your flawed thesis when you didn’t know that BP is refusing to let asylum seekers at legal points of entry.

I don't believe that they do. I think they get arrested.
One can't seek asylum after been caught crossing illegally - intentions to seeking asylum are not clear to authorities at this point. Papers have to be submitted at the official entry points at the time of entry.

Unemployed shitbird taking notes with no clue where those numbers came from: you are not impressive. Nielsen has lied - repeatedly - about the existence of the camps. She lies. You lie.

Another little factoid from today’s briefing. Of the 12,000 kids apprehended who have crossed the border illegally, 10,000 of them came unaccompanied. That means that their parents sent them on this dangerous journey on their own. Their parents don’t seem to have concern for their safety. I would argue that they are getting better treatment, care, and supervision here, in detention, than they received with their parents.

Prove me wrong, friend. And, it’s much more likely I will engage with someone who doesn’t go about throwing around profanity and calling me names.
But, you likely know that. You have no intention of engaging. YOU MAD. Yes, you are mad because someone has come here with facts and numbers that you simply cannot refute.
