I don't get the uproar. I thought valerie jarrett and roseanne were asian ladies when I first saw them because of the eyes and hair. Also feel like this is overblown when comics and bloggers on popular news sites say even worse racist things about people.

Here comes her defense: ambien tweeting.

She's going on Joe Rogan's podcast to discuss the dangers of ambien. He's covered it before.

She will paint herself as a victim of meds.

On a positive note, she asked her followers to stop defending her and not to boycott abc. She must have good PR people: accept responsibility and apologize, and then quickly launch a defense that paints you as the victim. Shift the story to ambien tweeting. Brilliant!

Now she's blaming what she said on Ambien. Sorry but if you put the average person on Ambien, they might say something they would have the common sense to suppress, but that doesn't get past the fact that this is how the unfiltered Roseanne Barr thinks.

Annoying that they canceled it. She said what she said off the show - it’s not like it was written into a script to be aired on ABC. She can have whatever views she likes - oh wait she can’t, the liberal polite police won’t allow it.

She absolutely can have any view she wants. Her black, female boss can fire her a**, especially since ABC is a private company.

Freedom of expression does not mean freedom to express anything, anywhere with no consequences. If I went into my workplace and stated spouting this stuff, I’d be fired too. So would you (I hope).
