" intravaginal and intrarectal treatments have been used for decades to treat medical problems such as pelvic floor dysfunction, which can occur when muscles on the pelvic floor become weak or tight. The treatments can also be used for interstitial cystitis, a painful bladder syndrome. But those same doctors say the procedures are never performed without gloves, a chaperone in the room and, in the case of a minor, parental consent."

Because of the supposed legitimacy of these treatments, the MSU Title IX and police investigation resulted in no action. So this situation is more complicated than the Jerry Sandusky case. But perhaps worse in some ways.

Michigan State University had numerous reports of Nassar penetrating the girls without gloves and raping them. This perpetrator had been defended by MSU and USA Gymnastics for decades. The US Olympic Committee was also guilty for protecting him.

Agreed. Nassar was a master at manipulating people into thinking he a good doctor who was kind and compassionate. He manipulated many people into thinking his procedures were medically necessary and were done under correct procedures. Many of his victims believe the procedure was medically necessary and didn't realize it was abused until the allegations came out. When victim said that she defended Nassar until she realized she was a victim of his abuse.

He did not have a license to practice in the state of Texas yet he was allowed to practice medicine at the Karolyi Ranch

MSU, u.s. gymnastics and the Karolyi s all deserve to be indicted for enabling this monster
