| How do you get it to give you volume at the top? It makes my hair straight but very flat. |
I roll it under for volume |
I do the bottom half first and then I do the top half straight up and back, if that makes sense, like it was a mohawk row of hot rollers (but keep the revlon thingy moving). It gives me a little more oomph than I usually get wrestling with a brush and then I set it with hairspray. |
When you wind the chunk of hair around the roller, do it in such a way that you lift up the section and make sure the bristles have some contact with your scalp - but keep it turning. Don't hold it still. I'm not explaining this well, but it gives the top sections of my hair some nice volume when I take the time to really get to the root area and dry it well. |
Yeah I just bought a second one too. |
| I do a quick blast of my roots with my regular hairdryer first. I find the Revlon one doesn’t quite get there, but otherwise love it. |
I tried it on partly dry hair and it didn't work for me at all. I definitely think the "start with mostly dry hair" thing is for ladies with thicker or curlier hair. |
| I bought it yesterday and was skeptical...but I tried it and really liked it. I have curly/wavy thick hair. With the brush I was able to smooth and straighten and give a nice curled in bounce at the ends. Thank you DCUM! |
| What do you all use when traveling? I’m going to Europe for work and have no clue how to do my hair without this tool! Does the dry bar mini one work overseas? I couldn’t find the voltage online. |
I actually bought one with European voltage from amazon.co.uk. Yes, I'm a fanatic, but I've been thankful to have it on several trips. Depending on the country you're going to, you may need to buy a UK to whatever country adapter piece, but that works fine too. |

ok, guys, help me. Is it the
Revlon Oval One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizing Styler or the Revlon Oval One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizing Brush? |

I've been on this site for years and periodically see the plug for this dryer. I've ignored it because I've got AA hair. I saw a couple of posts that it might work on my hair, so I finally got it.
Ya'll...no lie, it really works.
My hair is bra strap length, not relaxed. Only the dominicans can get it straight. But sometimes you don't have half a day to give, you know? I was planning to go today but it's raining so I finally pulled out the dryer, and wow. It's not a professional blow dry (but I'm also not experienced and didn't use much product) but it's enough for going to work and around town. I will definitely use this in between salon blow outs. THANKS DCUM! |

If you have straight fine hair prone to greasiness and love this brush, can you tell me exactly what you do?
Towel dried hair or damp? Any product before you use the brush? |
| I got one of these for Christmas and it’s life changing. Truly. |
