There's always one... this thread is about the Revlon tool. Start your own thread. |
| I adore my Dyson air strait. Go straight from wet hair (I do wrap mine in a hair towel with some leave in conditioner, so it is not sopping wet) to perfectly sleek straight dry hair in 10 minutes flat. My hair is about 22" long. |
| Plus since there is no brush, I have almost zero breakage from the bristles pulling on the hair. I use a wide tooth comb before drying to distribute the conditioner and a heat protectant. Even my hairdresser says my hair looks amazing. |
Any suggestions for heat protectant products without silicone? |
$649 vs $39 I would never spend that much for a styling tool. |
Is your hair curly? |
Exactly. This would never work on someone with curly hair that needs the bristles to pull the hair straight. Revlon or L'Ange, all the way. |
Me too and I love how easy my hair is. I don’t even own any kind of hair dryer. Shampoo on plus maybe a tiny dot of conditioner, otherwise it’s too weighed down. Air dry. There’s no frizz, just straight. Getting a little more body naturally now that I’m perimenopause. Hairdryer makes my hair way frizzier than air drying. I spend about 5 seconds on my hair each day. Except when I color the front on my own every few months. The dye gives me more body. Good old metal curling iron for parties. But no product. |
| Anyone else have both Revlon and L'Ange and find the Revlon much better? I thought I would upgrade and got the L'Ange but it definitely does not give me the same smoothness as the Revlon. |
I have both and don't think L'Ange is any less effective than Revlon. It does not damage my hair as much as Revlon though. I have super kinky, curly hair too. |
I have a L'Ange, which I love and bought after finding that the Dyson Air Wrap was pretty useless on my thick, wavy hair. |
+1 I have both and think that the Revlon ultimately does the best job, but the L'Ange is a close second. Either way, these tools would have changed my life if they existed when I was in college (86-90)!! I also have super kinky and curly hair. |
+1 I tried my friend's Dyson and it was indeed useless. Those who keep touting it must have straight / not curly hair to begin with. |
| Time to ditch heated tools and toxic products. Airdry and light oiling on days off. |
| Another vote for the Dyson Air Wrap. I bought one for my daughter and she really likes it. Her hair looks a lot nicer. |
