It is amazing. I could never do the brush and blow. It's like a hair dryer and a flat iron had a beautiful, presumably heat damaging baby.
I look like I went to a mediocre to average Dry Bar and I only spent 7 minutes and no products. What might I achieve with 15 minutes and some mousse? I feel reborn. It's called the Revlon Oval One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizing Styler if you're searching. This is the best consumer experience I've had since my first Dyson. |
Amazon shows that this product comes in the one you listed and then in a slightly cheaper model that is just a "dryer and styler." Can anyone weigh in on the difference between them? |
The "dryer and styler" is like a flat paddle brush and air only blows out the side with the bristles, the "dryer and volumizer" is like a round brush (only it's oval), so it has bristles and air holes all the way around the brush. |
| UGH FINE. I just ordered one on Amazon. Now what do I do with my T3 Featherweight? |
| I have below the shoulder, fine, straight hair that is in need of volume, but that's about it. Will this revolutionize my life too? |
| The Revlon hair dryer thingy is probably the best thing I've ever gained from DCUM. I would say even if your hair is beautifully straight with volume and no frizz..... I would still get it. Something about the thing is magical. It changes lives. |
| What about those of us for whom more volume isn’t a good thing? Anyone with thick wavy hair that tends to frizz have luck with this device? |
My hair is similar. How are you with a low-heat blow dryer and large round brush? I have the Revlon thing and think the results are similar to that, but a bit smoother and a LOT easier. I have a hard time wrangling a brush and a dryer at the back of my head, can't get the brush angle right and my hair ends up sticking out at weird angles. This makes it easier since I only have to deal with one thing and can use both hands on it. |
oh yes, it's perfect for you. I have thick curly hair. It works like a round brush...only you don't have to try and hold both the brush and hair dryer at the same time. So a round brush will straighten curly hair, but it can also add volume to straight her. I use the Revlon thing to straighten my hair. It is smooth and lasts. It's different than the flat iron. For some reason the flat iron doesn't last as well or look as smooth. The revlon think looks pretty close to a blowout. |
| If you like that, try the Connor spin brush. Air flow plus spinning brush component that spins in both directions. Great for smoothing and adding flips to the end or loose waves (in longer hair). |
Yes, that’s me. It’s the only way I can get straight, smooth hair by myself. |
OP here me too. It gave me a little more lift maybe than my typical "flip and dry" method but the main thing is the smoothness. The ends look way more profesh than normal. |
I use the hairdryer for my roots and the revlon for everything else. |
does this also have pixie dust and unicorn blessings or is it just a hair appliance |
I still need to flat iron mine but it really helps. I can touch it up with the revlon without a flat iron easily and quickly. |
