I think this is true for the spouse who didn't know in other similar situations. He probably thought marriage would take his mind off of his desire to be a woman. For Kris, with her big ego and the K family rep for selling sex, it must be a big blow to her.

No, it doesn't. It means that he is uncomfortable in his male body and believe that he should have been born a female. That is all it means. He can still be gay, straight, or bisexual regardless. He is gay if he transitions to female and likes women. He is straight if he transitions to female and likes men.

Not pp, but how does it not make sense?

If Bruce is transitioning from being a man to becoming a woman, and Bruce is sexually attracted to women, that would technically make Bruce a lesbian.

If Bruce is transitioning from being a man to becoming a woman, and Bruce is sexually attracted to men, then that would technically make Bruce straight.

But generally, I think a lot of people are learning that sexuality isn't so binary, and gender certainly isn't. Being a person and being attracted to another person is what a lot of people prefer - dropping the limiting labels and terms.

I didn't read the thread, but I just want to say, Leave Bruce Jenner Alone! It makes me sick to see photos of him wearing lipstick and manicured, yet still in jeans and men's shirts, kind of half-way there. He needs some privacy. It has to be painful for him, and all this sickening interest in a purely private matter is just nauseating. Close down all these threads. Let him be who he is in private. Just stop gossiping like tittering children. He has a right to his own life and his own feelings and his own behavior. He's not hurting anyone.

He's making it public in a show that documents his journey. Couldn't pass up the chance to make even more money and get more attention. He's a true Kardashian family member. Cha ching!

I absolutely agree, he isn't hurting anyone and we should give him respect and time. I hope what he is doing is making him happier or more comfortable.

That said, he is making his own reality show about the transition. It doesn't seem he is wanting privacy.

Bruce and Demi moved their family to some rural area a couple decades ago and you never heard about them. Bruce is rich enough that he could have moved anywhere...and his family is rich enough to travel to visit him. Instead, he's out and about in La La land with a film crew...who filmed the moment when he discussed his transition with his family.

You know last season's (Season Nine) of E!'s "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" had low ratings because I think people are just growing bored of the Kardashian family and all of their family antics. It was starting to get really old after a while. Yeah...since 2007.

So honestly, I think this whole "Bruce Jenner Transitioning to a Woman...." story is all made-up to spark ratings for the show.

To get people to start watching again. That's all it is. A publicity stunt for ratings.

Bruce Jenner has always been a very conservative type of man. Remember that episode when he met that gay guy? It was during the first season?

Bruce Jenner is the epitome of conservatism at its finest. In comparison to the Kardashians, he was always the most reserved and normal.

I can't believe now he is the one who is now supposedly doing the whole Chaz Bono thing.

He's so humble and down to earth. And REAL.

This thread is warped and beyond mean. Have some compassion. He appears very uncomfortable in the skin he was born in and we should just all be grateful we don't have the same problem. I feel bad for him and wish him well. I've never watched any Kardashian shows and don't know much about them, but from the headlines it sounds like they're all being very sweet and diplomatic about it, so they can't be all bad.
