How does Obama not respect the Constitution? Rick Santorum would outlaw abortion in this country, fundamentally changing how the 14th Amendment is interpreted. Is he also disloyal? |
why throw the race card in? |
| I have him on my fantasy football team, oh wrong cruz, |
Why not? Given the lack of birther concern for Cruz's situation, we are down to two hypotheses for the birther challenge against Obama: 1. It's pure partisan hackery. 2. It's the result of bigotry. Oh and maybe a large percentage of the country is biased against the number 44. I forgot that one
So, given the choice between hackery and bigotry, I would go with bigotry based on the number of times "Kenyan Born" was uttered in conjunction with "Muslim". |
Rick Santorum could just do that? All by his lonesome? |
Are those things in the Constitution? |
Yes, I think Obama is a traitor by your definition. Definitely. |
By your logic, Mitt Romney is not a loyal American, because he too vowed to create jobs. Okay, you got me, every President is a traitor for wanting to grow jobs in America. But for the record, yes, the Commerce Clause clearly gives Congress the power to regulate interstate and international commerce, and the President must enforce those laws. Wall Street is clearly both interstate and International commerce. And lastly no one has to have an enumerated power to express concern for people who have financial difficulty. |
You do understand creating jobs has to be done in a constitutional manner, correct? The Commerce Clause is most misunderstood - and bastardised - by liberals. Concern? No. Legislate? YES |
Don't be obtuse - you're the one who said, "You cannot be loyal to a country that you feel needs to be fundamentally changed." Santorum feels the country should be fundamentally changed. Is he a traitor? |
If he planning on bypassing the Constitution to do so? |
OMG you need to go back to school. This is nuts. |
You have said that Obama has violated the constitution to make fundamental changes. Can you give me the Supreme Court cases ruling them unconstitutional? |
| Not the pp who said they were unconstitutional. However, it does take a long time to get to the SC. And, there is one case that has ruled against him: recess appointments. |
Conversely, too many hold him to a lower standard and give him a pass for things no other pres would get a pass on Rep or Dem. |
