There will never be anyone to convince me that my DH's sexual gratification from another male is anything but gay. I have no problem with gays. | Homophobia aside, if you learned that your DH had sexual contact with men in the past or was bi, would it concern you that the sexual competition pool has expanded (at least in your own mind)? In my case and with my own insecurity, it would bother me that, in addition to being worried about other women, I would now have to worry about other men catching his eye. Do I have now have to worry about guys' night out? It may be unreasonable and neanderthal -ish, but I am just being honest. |

| It would bother me. And it's not an additional chore I'm willing to take on. There's way too many straight men out there to have to put up with someone bi (if you're not okay with that). And no one should be able to chose what you're okay with except you. When men lie about their preference for same sex (whether a current or past preference) they strip their wives of the right to make choices about their lives. I absolutely would want the right to make choices about who I'm with and what I'm willing to accept in my life. Unless we're going to start forcing arranged marriages on people, we should be able to chose someone who has or has not had same sex relations in his/ her background. |

I'm still trying to figure out why a gay guy would be trying to marry women and sleep with them. It would just complicate his gay life. Will someone please explain to me why a truly gay man would seek out women to marry and have sex with. Nobody has yet to explain that to me.
All the closeted gay guys I have known were never married and just kind of always single. I know one openly gay man who was once married, but his wife knew along with everyone else. They just kind of did it because they both wanted a wedding. After a few years they quietely got a divorce and remain best friend til this day. (she's fat and not going to find a man) |
