Sorry to whip out the dictionary, but, damn, completely necessary at this point:
1ho·mo·sex·u·al adjective \?h?-m?-?sek-sh(?-)w?l, -?sek-sh?l\ Definition of HOMOSEXUAL 1 : of, relating to, or characterized by a tendency to direct sexual desire toward another of the same sex 2 : of, relating to, or involving sexual intercourse between persons of the same sex |
Um not quite. Talk about an oxymoron! |
I think it has been said a million times - a girl can hook up with a girl and she's not "gay" but a guy can't do the same? I go for the girl over the guy every time and the last time I even touched a guy was because it was a couple and that was a part of the deal. I wanted her, didn't mind playing with him to make that happen. As for being gay as a lifestyle - not happening. It's just not what I, or many others, are interested in. |

My guess is that if you limit it to experiences post-22 (e.g. after college age) that the number would plummet. The things that very hormonal post-pubescent boys from puberty, through high school and through college will do is much wider than what they'd do after that time.
The number is also increased by situations where men are separated from women for long periods of time and are only in the active company of other men, as the PP who referenced prison suggested. But it also applies to military deployments and long-term work deployments where there may be very infrequent or non-existant female companionship. |
| Dh tried it with a good gay friend in college just to see if he would like it. It wasn't for him. |
| ^^ That's what he told you... You may want to open up your eyes wide to your DH. He's got some surprises coming your way. |
|
This is ridiculous. Man having non coerced sex with men = not straight. It's as simple as that.
Plenty of men are coerced into sex in prison. Some are gay but some aren't. No man "tries" gay sex btw. The pp's dh is spinning her a load of bull. |
Easy, they're GAY!!! Masquerading as straight while boning dudes is GAY! |
In the first definition, the key word is "tendency". A few homosexual encounters doesn't make it a 'tendency'. I have no issue with the second definition. Same sex activity is homosexual activity but that doesn't mean the person has a 'tendency' for that type of behavior. |
| I'm a little pregnant. How does that fly with you? |

So every guy who, as a teenager, tried mutual masturbation with a male friend, is GAY? Even if all other sexual encounters were with women, he's still GAY? |
How many definitions do you need posted, PP? Instead of asking here, ask around. I'd say what you described is gay. If a guy tried to encourage me to do mutual masturbation, I'd say he was gay. He could run for cover by sleeping with the cheerleading squad. Doesn't change the truth- he's gay. Not sure why you guys have such a problem with this. It's not bad to be gay. |
