Why weren't names on the emails redacted? Can't imagine a judge saying no to that. Hopefully Sidwell at least tried.

I'm sure they were. I think the complaint posted on here ( other than 1st page) has been manually typed on here for the sake of inflicting publicity. I suspect Newmyer really wants a pre-trial settlement. Otherwise, why try so hard with the PR firm, jus wait for your date in court.

I might juts might not give your kid that F they deserve, or turn them in for being biggest pot dealer in the school, or advocate for them NOT getting counsilled out or.... get it .

The school shrink grades students? I asked two separate questions, but I think you conflated the two. Do folks know if schools have policies forbidding relations between staff and parents? I can see why they would be good to have, but my question is DO schools have them, not should?

Why would Newmyer want a pre-trial settlement? Does HE need the money? Is HE worried about his future job prospects? Is HIS reputation in danger from further leaks?

Maybe he's afraid of the counterclaim? If so, is his strategy to hire a PR firm to make Sidwell and its shrink look even worse?

Nope. None of that makes sense and the relentless attack on the guy doesn't seem to be working.

Where was the pyschologist practicing in the school? The daughter was obviously in the Lower School. Was he as well, or was he in the Middle or Upper? Might make a difference in his counter claim.

No, the names were not redacted. There's no gag order, so all the filings are public.

Sidwell has to tread lightly. Terry Newmyer's adult daughter from earlier marriage to Marina was best friends
with Chelsea Clinton when the two girls were attending Sidwell Friends School in the mid-1990s.

There was no need to quote the statement about the 8th grade girls being hit on by male P.E. teachers. Same with the Sidwell bullying issue.
