It appears that lawsuit over a staff member's affair with a parent now involves Bob Woodward. No "Deep Throat" jokes please.

I know the whole thing is sorid..awful. I actually feel bad for him and his wife..they are really getting dragged into this. Why oh why didn't Sidwell settle this. Come on half of DCUM seems to be attorneys-does the DCUM brain trust agree??? I would be so mad if I was a Sidwell parent..people pay too much for this school to have this kind of nonsense.

PP, I can not agree more. I also do not understand why Sidwell did not do something about Huntington before Newmyer brought the case to the board?

I don't understand who you feel bad for. They all sound terrible - the only way with a half a mind was the exwife of Huntington (Liza) who told Huntington to stop.

They didn't settle because Huntington didn't sign the arbitration agreement as part of the enrollment. We just signed our enrollment agreement and I see that in there.

Sidwell should have been squeaky clean on this one. Disappointing.

Jeff needs to create a whole forum for Sidwell I don't think I can take a whole year of this.

Maybe a forum for Big 3 and a forum for the Small Fish Private Schools.

Anybody else here that could not care less what happens at Sidwell? Two people had sex, a husband is mad.... maybe we can move this to the relationships forum. Seems par for the course for that Forum.

I love how the reporter first talks about why the husband would go through with this and expose his young daughter's records to the horrors of public scruity...

And then proceeds to highlight all the sortid details of the case.

Clearly the dad is pissed, but still, why is he dragging this out? They fired him. Everyone sounds a little nuts here. Except for the former wife of the Sidwell shrink.
