| I do the same thing. I have a 5 pound range. I weigh myself weekly and if I go above it, I cut back. It doesn't take much to get me back in my 5 lb range. |

1. I weight lift and do core strengthening for 30min 3x a week
2. I avoid processed carbs (but I do treat myself 1 - 2x a week with a high quality baked good) 3. I eat a lot of proteins, veggies, and fruit 4. I don't drink or smoke 5. I drink a lot of water 6. My husband is also a very healthy eater so we never have junk food in the house to tempt us. 7. We get outdoors often throughout the year: hikes, outdoor activities, etc. 8. I try to learn new skills or subjects to prevent boredom (a trick from this former emotional eater) 9. My DH and I have sex at least once a week, often more. 10. We only have one child so maintaining the above lifestyle is quite simple. |
Also, I don't measure portions. I eat until I'm full. Since I eat a lot of protein and drink a lot of water, I also don't get hungry in between meals so snacking is not a temptation. |
