Not true. 10% for 150 days. Then that’s it. He can increase up to 15% if he feels like it, but it’s still over 153 days from this moment.

Agreed. But he is trying to present Kavanaugh's dissent as official approval of tariffs. Before we weren't sure, now we are approved.

Its an assertion the majority of the court has already rejected.

He's telling us the new tariffs will be "potentially higher" and no more concern about whether or not they will stand.

Why are Indian reporters always allowed to ask so many "what does this do for India" questions at the press conferences all of the time?

Trump says that Barrett and Gorsuch's votes in the tariffs case are "an embarrassment to their families."

Uh, that's a mob threat.

The rest of the world is watching this with fascination- curious to see what happens when you stand up to trump. Europe, for example, calls this “embarrassing for us president”.

I usually type crazy fast to provide notes. I slumped. Here’s what I grabbed. Also, he was shockingly calm.

Trump is invoking Section 122 of the Trade Law Act for tariffs. Allowing for temporary tariffs for 150 days. Mandatory 10% provisional tariffs.

“There are ways around it.”

“Hundreds of billions of dollars coming into the country.”

“Countries that treat us really badly will face higher tariffs.”

“We lost 2 republicans because they were not good republicans.”

“I’m deploying the National Guard for domestic law enforcement.”

Steel factory owner and workers are happy: “President, I’d love to kiss you. Sir, I want to kiss you. We were working 1 day a week and because of your tariffs we are working 7 days a week, even 24 hours a day.” “This big beautiful bill has been great for our company.”

“They are so thrilled with Trump.”
“We have an incompetent Fed.”
“We should have the lowest interest rates in the world.”

“I was surprised when I read the report. I read very well. I have great comprehension. Because when you read it, it was [?] But we have justices who are political.”

“We have alternatives.”

India: “They will be paying tariffs and we will not.”

“All the deals are off.”

“Great certainty was brought back to the United States and the world.”

+1 Did he skip to the end so he thinks Kavanaugh’s dissent is the decision?
