Neighbor transferred. Wasn’t a fit from the beginning. She thought it was socially tough. She did say it is easier for boys since there are so few that they have to stick together.

You left off ND. Villanova also a strong choice these days. We know more and more going to Fairfield.

Funny how the dominant program at almost all these Catholic schools is Business. In many cases the percentage of students in a business major tops 40% (according to CDS's). These "Catholic" schools are mostly teaching greed and how to get rich. St. Francis must be weeping.

Notre Dame (Mendoza)
Boston College (Carroll)
Fordham (Gabelli)
Georgetown (McDonough)
Fairfield (Dolan)
Saint Joseph's (Haub)
Loyola Maryland (Sellinger)
Villanova (School of Business)
Santa Clara (Leavey)
Catholic (Busch)
Providence (School of Business)

Um. It's "get rich" to help the poor. Or something.

ND and Georgetown have always been the only Top 25 Catholic universities. Holy Cross long time top 25 liberal arts school. Why pay $95-100k a year for Catholic schools ranked beyond that. Villanova is ranked in the high 50s right near Penn State ranking.

Which posters are Catholic?

Why go to Fairfield when school is ranked 139th by US News. Perspective, UConn is ranked 69th.

Is Georgetown still Catholic?

Full pay family kids looking at Notre Dame and Holy Cross as a safety. Newman Centers are at our other top 25 schools.

ND is over 80% Catholic. GU might be 40%. Draw your own conclusions.

Why are we quoting US news? We all know how absurd it’s gotten. Fingers crossed we get into #42 Rutgers but at least we’ll have #51 William and Mary to fall back on. Since I got into #69 Tulane I sure am feeling better about my chances at #57 UC Merced. US news ranking has devolved into some sort of weird DEI fan fic. Has absolutely nothing to do with reputation
