Class sizes and calendar were biggest advantage of private. School culture and parent involvement at ATS trump the private school.

ATS for elementary is great. Private for secondary if you can afford it.

What’s the difference when it comes to school culture? My kids are at ATS and am considering private for middle as well

School pride and community.

Parent participation. Even private schools have checked out and entitled parents. Those parents don’t stay at ATS.

Admin responsiveness rivals private schools. Weekly teacher communication.

Focus on fundamentals. Everything in school is set up to reinforce academics, behavior and citizenship. Kids don’t fall through cracks

ATS is comparable to parochial schools based on our experience.
