its worse than i expected, why didn't they just cancel and put everyone in real tournaments while there was still time? They knew by the first week of August there was no interest. |

HYS put 23 out of 26 possible teams into this tournament (no brackets for most of the girls and they left out some third teams).
This tournament is not affiliated with Herndon in any way, other than the Herndon admin strangely being listed as the manager of this tournament. There are approximately 87 teams in this tournament total. 23 out of 87 teams from one unaffiliated club. Villareal only put in 16 teams, and its their tournament! Also, side note, Herndon's OWN fundraiser tournament only had 18 total teams from Herndon out of 160 total teams registered. That event only goes up through U15. Its so strange. I can't make sense of it. Why would you pull teams out of your own normal tournament and put them in this boondoggle? |

| The brackets don't match up with the accepted teams. Not sure if that's just disorganization or people haven't paid yet or what. They have some teams listed twice in the same age group as well. |

There are only 3 teams in u9B total. Boys side is an embarassment. Girls side is a disaster. |

Because the Herndon soccer admin was moonlighting and getting paid to fill this tournament with teams, there is no other logical answer. This is not a decision made to benefit the Herndon players. |
