Inflexible rules and a rigid schedule aren't likely to bother him.

Smells, noises, institutional food, proximity to so many other people...

You do understand that the posters here are highly educated?

Sure, but his weird demeanor is likely to be poorly received by those incarcerated with him.

The prisons aren't exactly populated with the well-regulated socially and mentally individuals.

I was interested to see what the defense would actually come up with- there was a lot of evidence against him. So, I guess everyone just knew all along that he did it. I also really wanted to know why he did it. What was the goal here? Did he have a mental illness? Was he obsessed? Why was he getting a PhD in criminology, but he was a criminal (?) Wondering if he commited any other crimes that he got away with. I wanted to hear from the defense witness- who was this person, someone pretty
unlikely to just walk in a house and murder a lot of people.

He’s a sadist and was probably obsessed with one of the girls (which is why he went straight upstairs). Followed her in social media, etc.

Some people get fixated on others. It’s jarring.

There isn’t some grand explanation beyond that.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump chooses to pardon him afterward.

And the sad thing is that people would still support Trump even if he did this! 🤬

Wow, some of you are nuts. Bringing Trump into everything? Pretty gross.

No nuance, no critical thinking. Just a rabid TDS reaction.

Definitely better to secure four murder convictions and a life without parole sentence than to roll the dice and risk even the small possibility of acquittal.

+1

DUH

Seeing the baying hounds of blood lust barking here for death is gross, and a much more awful display of 'humanity' than the reasonable prosecutor.

I have little doubt that you are all so-called Christians who wallow in your self righteousness elsewhere in your lives as well.

Not everything has to be political. Why are you attacking Christians? Try to stay on target.

Really? And yet they don't grasp basics civics concepts like dual sovereignty and that presidents don't have pardon power over state convictions?

Bwahahahahahaha.

You clearly have ZERO conception of what life in a state prison is like, poster.

Nearly 40% of state and federal prisoners have mental illness. Weird demeanors abound in prison; Kohberger will fit right in.

I believe the standard answer is, "If you truly understood what was happening, you wouldn't be questioning them." So, it's unfortunate that your schooling hasn't prepared you for end stage democracy.

He convicted himself. He should have pled not guilty. I think he had a chance to win.

Did anyone watch the sentencing today?

The Goncalves family……..I’m torn because I understand they are grieving but I thought it was really classless (and quite a contrast to the other grieving families, to be honest) to include comments about prison rape in their statements. The mom ended hers with ‘You may have gotten all As in school but you’ll be getting Big Ds in jail’ or something along those lines. I mean come on…

Their daughter was stabbed and beaten, he messed up her face. They can tell BH anything they want to during their only one face to face opportunity. You are worried about classiness? Come on.
