No, because support for Hamas isn’t getting better. Americans don’t support terrorists.

Nobody outside of Gaza supports Hamas. Even inside Gaza people are demonstrating against Hamas. Stop with this propaganda that equates supporting Palestinian rights with being “pro Hamas.” That is utter BS.

NP. Given the number of protests in the US where protestors are waving Hamas flags, you are clearly lying.

What utter BS. I have never, ever seen a Hamas flag at a pro-Palestine demonstration.

Oh for God’s sake, cut the stupidity. There are plenty of photos from the past year on various news sites, if you are able to manage that basic task.

I am so sick and tired of the gaslighting and lies that come from both the pro-Palestinian and pro-Israeli side. I want to wash my hands of the whole d*** region. Both sides are full of bloodthirsty terrible liars.

My opinion of Israel and its supporters has sharply declined over the past year, so I would be part of this poll. But you know what else has sharply declined? My opinion of Palestine and its supporters.

They all deserve each other.

Oh please. Like you ever had a high opinion of Palestinians. That’s laughable.

I used to go to protests on behalf of Palestine. I sent repeated letters to my reps criticizing Israel and arguing for aid to Palestine. I suspect that’s more than 99% of the Hamas-flag lovers on university campuses today.

That was all well before Oct. 7th. I of course do nothing of the sort now.

DP. You're full of shit. Try harder, troll.

Oh please. You just can’t imagine anybody disagreeing with you, because you are a religious fundamentalist.

NP and I don’t find your history of Palestinian support credible, either. If you are grown enough to post your nonsense, you should be grown enough to take the responses.

NP. You're entitled to your opinion, but not your own facts. Feel free to believe what you want.

Polls mean a lot actually, and this one shows that the American people are not happy with Israel’s actions. That matters because the US is Israel’s biggest supporter.

What if there was a poll asking how Gazans are perceived, and the results indicate they are viewed unfavorably for their failure to accept their own country when offered, their learned helplessness, attachment to grievance, corrupt government, and support for Hamas? Would that change anything? Of course not.

Polls about perceptions like these are useless. The USG is not going to change policy towards any country or group based on the results. Maybe nice for sympathizers to say "Look! Some other people have a negative view of Israel!". But that means nothing in any practical sense.

This is not exactly true. No one believed that America would essentially turn its back on its allies and now we have Trump doing exactly that. In turn it’s making our allies rethink their relationship with us and the world over. And that puts Israel in a precarious place. While there are countries in the region that view Iran as a problem, many of those same countries are not necessarily the biggest fans of Israel. What keeps them working towards better relations is U.S. support and desire generally for peace in the region for everyone’s sake.

If US military support for Israel is waning within US electorate (which it is), Israel may fine itself further alienated in the region. It is in Israeli citizens best interest to get rid of Netanyahu and his ilk, install new leaders, and work with the others in the region to rebuild Gaza and truly establish a Palestine country.

You mean kinda like how the US fixed everything in Iraq and Afghanistan for the betterment of everyone? Lol... when people are filled with useless hate towards a neighboring group of people, they are lost cause. Israel and Gaza will never coexist in peace. Someone always has to have the last word with bloodshed. I'm sick and tired of hearing about their hate, murder, and destruction.

If you can’t comprehend that reasonable people could be credibly be disgusted by Palestinian actions (10/7 and more), and therefore change their minds on how they support the Palestinian liberation efforts, you are nothing more than a cultist.

I’m disgusted by what I’ve seen. I also want to defund Israel entirely, so this isn’t because I support Israel, but I am disgusted by the Palestinians as well.

The idea that 10/7 is some glorious act of liberation is not a view held by rational people, all radical leftist propaganda notwithstanding.

No one cares because they are equally exhausted of hearing about these two groups of people halfway across the world continually killing each other. There is no fix to a situation where people have been hating and killing each other for as long as they have been going at it.

Factions of people in parts of Africa have been committing equally awful crimes against humanity for as long as Jews and Palestinians have been senselessly killing each other. Why don't their stories of horror and genocide receive equal attention? Oh that's right, people in Israel and Gaza are more important because of money.

just as rational and moral people find Palestinian continued support for Hamas to be revolting, obscene, and indefensible, even as they cry "victim!". Where are all the Palestinian calls for Hamas to release the hostages and to surrender? Where are the calls for Hamas to get out and stay out of Gaza? There is some very limited internal movement against Hamas, but it's far too little, far too late. Hamas is a Palestinian creature, and their doctrine pervades Palestinian society. The focus should be there; Israeli military activity is a response to that evil. Sniveling about Israel misses the point entirely - their travails are what the Palestinians brought upon themselves by putting Hamas in power, and by leaving it in power.

I stand with the Sanders view of this and he has never once used your kind of manipulative whiny teenager language to frame things. Grow up.

You are the whiny, irrational teenager who insists that the Palestinians can’t be criticized or that people can change their opinions on Palestine. You grow up.

And because you are incapable of nuance, I’ll repeat what I said before: I deplore the Israeli response. As I have now said multiple times — but that you ignore because your cult programming doesn’t allow complex thought — I am in that group of people whose opinions of Israel have sharply dropped. But you know what has also sharply dropped? My opinions of Palestine.

I am so sick of extremist left-wing pro-Palestine cultists. You people cannot have a single rational conversation.

Didn’t write a thing that fits into your sad little rant. Get help, lady.

Another Zaren that tries to deflect genocidal responsibility by both siding the issue. Classic hasbara speak.
