I don't think it's particularly on the rise (it's been popular for years) and I don't think JMU people particularly care one way or the other.
For whatever reason, that really seems to annoy some outsiders. |
JMU is a great regional school, but it will always be at least 4th in Virginia in terms of desirability and reputation. |
OK with me. Virginia public college/university system is quite good. 4th among them? Great. |
![]() ![]() Agreed! |
+1 I personally hope it doesn't "rise" too much and become one of those more rejective colleges. Love the framing of rejective rather than selective! |
How is Greek life atJMU? |
Yep. JMU '94 |
I'm a fan of Virginia publics, but I'm not sure any of them are really on the rise. |
No, it isn't. |

JMU hasn’t released stats for this year yet……. |
Agreed. VT is in a tier of its own arguably. |
JMU living rent free in your head LOL |
JMU is not at the bottom. We are OOS and it’s a nice school. My kid has not decided yet but we visited and like it. Campus, academics, dorms, dining. It is a nice school. Why are people slamming? |
