It's actually 23 wins which is over 50% higher. So not close. You also said they were 6th or worse since joining, which also isn't true they've been 5th 3x out of 4. And played 2 or 3 tight-ish games per year with the top 4 after year 1. And generally they've hammered the teams behind them, which is fully 50% of the league.

You sure this is saying what you want it to say about the strength of privates vs publics?

1 win is 50%? Anyway, The Heights have gone from 11 wins (5th) to 7 (tied for 5th/6th) to 5 wins (6th) in a league which should clearly be divided just like their football side. They have an enrollment of less than 300 and joined a league where enrollment is 2-4x higher. 5th or 6th is where they will always land in lacrosse.

I do recognize they have a good group of 27's and will be a little more competitive this year and solidly in 6th place. They are a good team to judge relative strength of public v privates.

Will the Heights dad please stop with the fake objective comments about Heights being anything other than irrelevant in DMV lacrosse

The Heights attack 27 will have 80+ goals this year.

Nobody cares Margaret. Heights is an irrelevant lax program

??

😂 - This is DCum - if you don’t get the reference then time to turn in your DC card. Didn’t know Heights even had lacrosse….

Usually offensive minded so just throw a few out to get started.

Jackson Maher (Bullis, Penn) IL 5 star, #6 class of 2025
John Offutt (SJC, MD) IL 4 star, #54 class of 2025
Matt Beachley (DeMatha, PSU) IL 4 star
Noah Han (GP, Princeton) IL 5 star, #10 class of 2026

The player will come from either the WCAC champ or IAC champ.

Mahar Bullis
Offut SJC
Cicotello GZ
Southworth Landon
Han GP
Quinn - PVI??

Depends on who wins the Championship in the WCAC. Defenders have been picked in the past.

I hope it’s a middie but southworth will need to put up a lot more than the 15 points like he has had the last two seasons. Think you can strike him from the list but I could be wrong. Landon did have a ton offense depart in Panetti, Miller and Robertson.

You are correct. Southworth scores a lot in club but Murray will have a ton more goals. Win or lose, Maher will be so far ahead of everyone else he will be the player of the year.

There is no question that the Bullis/Penn attack is the best player in the area. It isn’t close.

Agree... he has the highest ceiling out of any of the commits on the list above.

DC area lacrosse will be down again this Spring.

SJC, Landon, Bullis, and Prep are losing too many recruits to the MIAA.

Prep can sustain success with bringing in boarders from around the country and re-classifying them - Hoyas won't suffer a drop-off as many are predicting this Spring.

Landon is overrated. They lost a very strong 2024 class last year, likely the best class in the area last Spring. I don't see the Bears being a top 50 team in the country this Spring.

Good Counsel doesn't sneak up on anyone this year and returns to the mean. Dematha and, gasp, Heights both win.
