Nah, he's just a corrupt, sleazy con man.

I agree wholeheartedly. The America I thought I was living in was just a dream. Half our nation doesn't care about rule of law or Democracy.

And your half believes the rule of law is just a club for punishing your opponents and literally thinks “democracy” only exists if your side wins. If you lose an election, “ iT’s TeH EnD oF oUr dEmOcRaCY!”.

That’s who you are.

Can I just say that Jack Smith has shown himself to be a massive loser.

Just a couple months ago he’d making court filings talking about the future of democracy at stake. And now here he is with his tail between his legs looking to salvage his legal career. I wish him the best though.

This was the right choice. I hope the 11th Circuit still decides the special counsel issue in the Espionage Act case. We can’t leave that issue undecided.

Yes. Every single method to destroy Trump has been used by outlets that were supposed to non partisan: mainly the media and the court system; 2-3 assassination attempts (I lose count). So so many frivolous lawsuits and claims. It looks like one side IS trying to destroy democracy, but it isn’t Trump. Voters can see through the farce.

I think most Trump voters don’t actually understand that democracy is a responsibility. They are just angry and want someone to pay: libs, Feds, immigrants. Look at the ranting and rage pouring out every day.

They also don’t understand that democracy and rule of law are what have made us such a powerful and rich nation. They actually don’t realize the wealth and security they live in. Those are abstract concepts and if you can’t even comprehend what is a fact and have no sense of logic, democracy and rule of law are a stretch.

We’ll see but I suspect it’s going to have to get worse and then maybe trumpsters will snap out of it? I hope so. We’re all Americans.

It's all politics as usual. Political theatre.

LOL. Such hyperbole. Such arrogance. How do you live with yourself? 70+ million voters think differently than you; and you assume they "have no sense of logic, democracy, and rule of law."

No. We never said that when Reagan or Bush I or Bush II won. We didn’t even really say that when Trump won 2016. If you can’t see what the powerful people who influence Trump now are doing to break down our government, you’re delusional.

Oh yes you did…I remember how hard y’all fought Bush. Hanging dangling chads. The Earth was going to warm up and explode by 2020 if Gore didn’t win. lol. Same exact fear mongering, different words.

And that was BEFORE Obama taught the Democratic Party ALL about grievance politics. Now you are all insufferable in your pursuit of fear as policy.

Do you understand the reason why he dropped the charges?

Give me a break. Your side wanted to end the filibuster, pack scotus and micromanage social media to squash political speech. Don’t try to play the “break down our government” nonsense after that.

Please tell me how the rule of law is strengthened when Hillary is allowed to skate on her myriad violations of 18 USC 641 (after deleing all but one classified document) but Trump gets charged for holding some boxes. You Dems claim to favor the rule of law but never complain about the patently unequal application.

And that's why we are all stuck with Trump. Great work.
