Jack Smith Requests J6 Charges Be Dropped

Jack better learn how to run faster. I was at a local triathlon and that fool is slow AF. Its not like it was hard to find him as "anonymous participant."

What a tool.

So much for muh J6. Womp womp.

Uh, if you read it, you will understand that the reaiity is Trump would be unprecedented in firing a special counsel anyhow. At least this way, a written report can be provided to the American public.

Meanwhile, the Classified documents case will continue against the co-conspirators, at least until trump pardons them.

That case has been dismissed, with the ruling that Jack Smith's appointment is unconstitutional and not authorized by Congress.

Because the judge makes the decision.

The motion to dismiss said Smith and Trump’s legal team conferred, and they agreed.

Are you saying Smith lied to the court?

That ruling won’t/wouldn’t hold up on appeal. The 11th ( I think ?) circuit would absolutely reverse that, and likely remove Canon from the case. It’s an unimaginable miscarriage of justice.
He’ll pardon the little toadies, so I guess nothing matters anymore.
Do you feel safer with Trump holding our country’s most sensitive a dangerous security secrets?

I mean….it’s not like he’s ever played fast and lose with facts in the partisan pursuit of a political figure.

Virginia Governor Bob MacDonald ring a bell? Smith’s case against him earned a 8-0 slap down from the USSC. It was so humiliating that DoJ literally sent him out of the country for almost a decade, to hide him away in some backwater in The Hague. The guy is a career long screw up. And he’s a drunk.

I’m betting he’ll be headed abroad soon.

Given that he was president for 4 years previously, yes, yes I feel perfectly safe.

Give it a rest. Everyone saw right through this shenanigan.

It won’t hold up under appeal because now Trump will use that same reasoning to appoint Gaetz as a special counsel.

Sure. How many more nuclear and other top secrets will end up in his toilet given he's been emboldened and given permission for such. This is a terrible development for our country regardless of your political affiliation.

You shouldn’t feel safe. You shouldn’t sleep well. We’ll be cut off from five eyes because of this election. We won’t know where the threats are emerging because none of our allies will trust another Trump administration. They aren’t going to share intelligence with us. Americans voters might be too stupid to connect dots, but the intelligence services around the world aren’t dumb.

The insurrection certainly did happen on January 6, aided and abetted by Nancy Pelosi who refused to order enough protection a the Capitol. This was her first big FU to incoming president Joe Biden and ended with her big FU by pushing him out of the campaign.

Will she have a separate statue to Jan 6th? I heard the Lincoln memorial is going to be replaced with a Jan 6th memorial.

A separate statute, perhaps, for ruining her legacy with her perfidy.

You feel safe because you're not a spy working on behalf of the US. If you were, you certainly wouldn't feel safe for the next four years (or beyond once you've been sold out).

I agree wholeheartedly. The America I thought I was living in was just a dream. Half our nation doesn't care about rule of law or Democracy.

And your half believes the rule of law is just a club for punishing your opponents and literally thinks “democracy” only exists if your side wins. If you lose an election, “ iT’s TeH EnD oF oUr dEmOcRaCY!”.

That’s who you are.

No. We never said that when Reagan or Bush I or Bush II won. We didn’t even really say that when Trump won 2016. If you can’t see what the powerful people who influence Trump now are doing to break down our government, you’re delusional.

Your side called Bush II Hitler and a chimp. Dems always say the worst things about Republicans until the next one is nominated.

Because every Republican is worse than the last one. Bush Il looks great next to Trump but that's not saying much. He did not suffer from the WMD lie.

Really? The dude who lied about WMDs to start a 20 year war in the Middle East is better than Trump?

Except you LOVED Cheney when she joined your girls team.

Screw your faux outrage.

J6 was nothing more than a political protest. Some people walked into a building. No one died and it was mostly peaceful.

+1. It was mostly peaceful by the then-well-established precedent of what constituted a mostly peaceful protest in the year 2020.

The BLM riots set an unmatched standard. But the foolhardy J6 "protesters" did not slide into the BLM's "protesters/arsonists/looters, CVS worse nightmare."

There are no "spies" anymore. Everything is available on Insta, X, or through YouTubers. The dark web is even looking for content.

Our allies are salivating for another Trump administration. They are looking for a way to "gently" stop immigration and Trump will give them an excuse to take off the gloves and deal with their more difficult immigration issues. Five eyes is already being used for that purpose and will likely step up the cooperation. China is the enemy and the US is not the only country with intelligence on them. Even their new BFF in Afghanistan are rabidly reporting on them.

Where on earth do you get your 'facts' Nancy Pelosi is not responsible for January 6th.
