Deadline is 11pm. If someone submits their decline early, then it goes to next ranked on the waitlist.

In our school, all the top kids got waitlisted. Only 2 Geometry students got in and at least 4 Algebra 1 students, including one that slept through half the time for the essay portion

You all voted for these equity-based admission changes, and now that they're affecting your own kids, you can't complain about them. If you are one of those who abstained the school board public hearings on this topic, then you missed your opportunity to influence it.

You mean where they let people speak for it was either one minute or 30 seconds?

Last year, they sent them out within couple of days following initial offer deadline. Next week is spring break, so one can expect a few tomorrow cob.

Someone here mentioned that they were aware of a situation where two kids from same school approached Academies to swap their AOS and AET offers, and it got approved. So better to take the request up with the Academies, especially if student found another student willing to swap with. One thing is certain Academies will not get into the business of finding a swapping counterpart to avoid opening up that can of swappings.

PP here. The swapping may have been within AET specializations, both from same school.

I know of one student who was accepted AOS, waitlisted AET. and prefers AET. Not sure if they took the offer.

Doing something like residency matching system would be good for AOS/AET/TJ.
I know students who were accepted to AOS/AET but wanted TJ and vice versa.
