You misread the post that mentioned peas and blueberries. Go back and read it again.

This thread is making me so sad. 🥲

Not every deli meat contains nitrates and nitrites which are the carcinogenic compounds. I’ll keep eating my all natural Turkey slices preserved with only salt.

Good thing it's a troll post and normal people don't think like this.

Are Applegate Organic turkey breast slices okay?

The Lunchables parents are the same ones targeted by that ridiculously sad Pepto Kids ad I heard on the radio this morning:

“My kid has an upset tummy but I have to get to work! I’m so busy! Let’s give them a Pepto gummy so they’ll shut up and go to school!”

Soon your kids will be vaping in middle school.

I guarantee there's a correlation between primary school kids who get Lunchables and middle school screw ups and risky behavior.

I was gonna say, if deli meat is so bad, who the hell is buying $15 to 25 per lb Boar's Head? Poor people aren't buying that.

Yes, they're clearly trying to kill their children. Again you are obviously the better parent.

Yes, I am a better parent regarding nutrition. I’m not going to set my children on a path towards type 2 diabetes, etc. Give me a break. I do understand that most people who buy that type of food are ignorant rather than malicious, though.

There are clear correlations between mental illness and consumption of processed food. Feeding kids lunchables and all the processed packaged junk sets them on a clear course towards bad health outcomes. It’s just as easy to buy a thermos or two and pack leftovers. Obviously, if you give a kid the choice of processed garbage or real food, they will pick processed garbage because it has been engineered in labs to light up the pleasure centers of the brain. It’s your job as the parent to make the choice for your child.

Also, packing leftovers in a thermos is infinitely more cost effective than lunchables, particularly if you factor in that processed food leads to adhd etc.
