What makes a family give lunchables for lunch every day?

Anonymous
Should they be eating caviar?

Sometimes that’s all the kid may eat.

I don’t care what others eat. My kids loved lunchables at one point. Most kids like it.

MYOB and stop judging!

The nanny packs it, and the mom is too busy/doesn't care

Drugs. It’s always drugs.

Probably because they are easy to pack and the kids like them. Who cares?

Mind your own business.

You’re the kind of gossipy judgey girl that makes us all cringe in real life.

I can tell you with certainty that I'd rather be friends with the Lunchables family than OP

NP, and this is it. It's the same reason I let DS eat school lunch everyday (even though DD has a home lunch). It's because I don't love him as much. Nothing to do with the fact that he's socially awkward, and getting school lunch helps him navigate lunchtime social interactions more easily...just that I'm a cr@p parent who doesn't care about him.

This. Its what I always think when I see a litle one eating a potato chip or having juice. I mean you know how many carbs are in juice.

Yep. When she said she figured she’d get flamed by other lazy parents that really sealed the deal. I’ll take Lunchable Mom over Judgy Sack of Sh¡t Mom anyday.

This garbage food is why colon cancer rates are skyrocketing.

What makes you such a busybody

Seriously - what’s so bad about them? There are lots that a turkey slices, cheese, and crackers with some grapes. Is that so horrific versus that ham and cheese sandwich I send I my kid? Or the after school snacks of cheese and crackers a ton of kids get?

There is tons of bad food out there - but no I don’t think some cheese and crackers for lunch in an overall diet you know nothing about is likely somehow horrific compared to what’s in other lunchboxes. My kids pasta with cheese on it is still a carb and cheese - just different form. But I guess I get a gold star for it being homemade

+1. Lunchables are a step up from what most parents pack for lunch

Sometimes kids with special needs will only eat certain foods.

Also, a lunchable is not the worst thing a child could eat, especially if they also include things like peas, blueberries, popcorn, etc.

Wha lunchables have blueberries and peas on them??
