SYC to GA

Social media posts about committing and actually playing, having impact are different things. Most of these kids are over recruited and are not factors at these top programs. This is why you see rosters at college in the 30+ range. Take anyone who can pay then watch them wash out. Would be more impressed with you posting what those players do in college. Union has had a steady decline in results in the league the last few years and grasping for partners because they need players.

What club in this area is producing girls who are impact players on their college teams?

Well Arlington produced the starting keepers for top 25s Georgetown and Arkansas. Both started their freshman year. Lots of others as well from Arlington, McLean, NVA, VDA, and even lots of starters from Brave. You do not know the college game based on your statements.

yeah why on earth would an original SYC player leave a competitive ECNL team to join a newly formed GA team with no track record, a new coach, and a hogepoge of players, many from EDP teams.
Anonymous
syc probably going to just have EDP teams play in GA and call it a day.

Maybe not come back from an ECNL team but maybe they start by retaining their 2012’s. Recruiting years don’t start until U15 so the girls could see how the club does for a few years before jumping ship.

Exactly.. seems some folks feathers are ruffled here. Pulling a team linked to ECNL is a win for GA

Glad this is becoming official for us!

If SYC is so great. Ask them why their best players want to leave for other clubs

SYC parent here. Top kids will not be returning next fall. I know this is true on the boys side.
