UGA vs. UVA

UGA isn’t the same caliber as UVA. Both good schools, but their OOS acceptances couldn’t be more different. Come ON.

Oh my goodness. I can't believe some of the UVA boosters here. What a turnoff.

Cite that UGA students are less sophisticated and more provincial?

I’m a GA resident, and this is very accurate.

When did you last visit UVA or UGA?

There is literally no comparison as it relates to being a college town. Athens might be the best college town in the nation. Top football team, artsy, restaurants and bars. Plus one of the top college music scenes. But Charlottesville is good enough given the academic caliber of school. Georgia is on the rise though. Bet your kid would be very happy at either.

UVA is yesterday....

UGA. I love college towns and I’d pick UGA for the football game days . UVA is cute but GA is next level.

Yet, it was a UGA booster who reactivated an old thread at 18:18 and you didn't even notice

I went to UVA. If I could do it all over, I’d pick UGA. I’m encouraging my high schooler to give it a look.

My in state DD wants UGA over UVA. Warm, great facilities, friendly people. She likes UVA a lot too, but UGA is higher on her list.

Look at last years incoming stats. It is hard to get in from OOS. Maybe UVA is harder, but UGA is no slouch

UVA fans are insufferable.

You seem insufferable. You do realize that there might be people with no affiliation to UVA that harbor an opinion that UVA might be a better school, right? Why is your bias that it’s simply another UVA booster? It’s almost like you’re a UGA booster acting just like what you’re maligning “UVA boosters” for.
