Kate Middleton in Hospital - Recovering from Surgery

That’s usually outpatient. When it’s in-patient, you are typically out within days unless there are serious complications.

She will be in the hospital for 10-16 days. It must’ve been a big surgery!

Or she’s the princess of wales and gets the literal royal treatment. The rest of us would have to be back at work.

We get it. You don't like her but, there is no need for such hate here.

I think The timing is very strange, especially with King Charles prostate surgery, his condition is benign, so certainly could have been postponed/I just think it’s odd for them to be having surgeries at the same time. Poor William.

If it had been Gyn, she’d have gone to St Mary’s or the Portman.

They do have plastic surgery, I see. I'm guessing it's a face lift.

The woman has zero body fat, and no sagging skin. There is nothing to lift!

My friend had to have hers removed in her 20s. Not sure how long she was in the hospital, but it could be something like that.

Although hysterectomy is most likely candidate. If it has to go, it has to go. I don’t think anyone takes that lightly.

Maybe she has a bag now?

Colostomy bag would definitely require a stay that long along with a very long recovery

Yea I don’t get the facelift talk. If she is into that kind of thing at her age in 2024 it would be Botox and filler.

Planned vs emergency surgery - they’re just saying that she wasn’t admitted to the ER and ripped open. If it was scheduled for the day after they discovered the problem they could get away with saying it was planned. She probably powered through the holidays, went on vacation with the kids, then went to the doctors.

A week or so ago they were starting to announce some of the events they had planned, so either they lied about the events or the need for surgery progressed quickly.

Isn’t she super young for any condition that would require a colostomy bag?

That's for Charles: The king’s recovery is expected to be swifter, according to Buckingham Palace, which described his treatment as a “corrective procedure” for a common, benign condition.
