My dad is twice divorced and somehow still attract younger women. He turned 70 this year and his girlfriend is 55. It's crazy to me because he has already distributed all his assets. So it's not like he is going to shower then with millions. Women are just weird sometimes I swear.

Third wives likely dont want more kids. Maybe they do want a new baby.

They may want a companion, loyalty. Or may want money and a Take Care of Me figure.

They may not want to be a nurse or a purse. Maybe they do but don’t know it due to trauma bonds.

Many women don’t need or want some old guys money or adult kids. They have their own and just want to hang out and do stuff. Bfd

Dating to never have kids is different than one’s attempt at age 20-40 to find a mate for life to raise a family and run a household.

I mean, first of all, 55 vs 70 is hardly "younger." Both are senior citizens, it's not like he's dating a 25 year old. At 55, very likely she has assets of her own and is looking for an interesting companion. Since your dad managed to attract two spouses, he has to have something going for him.

Are you kidding? There is a massive difference between a 55 year old woman and a 70 year old man. On average he is about 6-8 years away from death--many of these years he may have very restricted quality of life. A 55 year old woman is on average about 25 years away from death. There's no comparison.
