Fair enough. But it's not really that shocking. Here's Biden talking about his late wife to the press:

 “Neilia was my very best friend, my greatest ally, my sensuous lover. The longer we lived together the more we enjoyed everything from sex to sports."

Now in fairness to Biden, the wider context of the interview is actually pretty wholesome and poignant. But the point is, if you isolate quotes it's easy to make people look awful.

It at least Biden doesn’t say things like that about his daughter!
