You wish. Bullis wishes.

Sidwell never thinks about Bullis.

You are certainly spending a lot of time thinking about Bullis.

I’m not Sidwell, nor am I a Sidwell parent.

However, I know that a lion doesn't concern itself with the opinion of sheep.

So you really don’t know anything about either school?

know enough about Bullis that I would never waste my time, gas, or money to send my children there.

Funny, that’s how I feel about Sidwell.

But at least you did figure out how to respond to a post on DCUM.

Yes, I call it the “Bullis effect.” It dumbs everything down, but hopes that no one notices.

Fascinating to me how for so many, Bullis takes up space in their head rent free, when they don't attend the school and actually have no current first hand experience. Our child is in the Upper School, and is getting a great education, has a diverse (ethnically and economically) friend group, and likes going to school. Not sure many HS families can say that about their child

We haven’t heard great things about the new LS Head. Four HR teachers are leaving this year.

Despite the hate, Bullis has always been good.

Lol!

The Lower school head is amazing! Completely student centered. And I have kids in the division. Three years ago there were just over 80 kids in the LS when my older child was in the division. Next year, it will be full and there will be over 180. And maximum class sizes of 12 in K and 1, and 14 in 2-5th. But having said that, I do think this thread is pointless. It's great that there are different good quality schools for different kids and families.

Bullis! Great track team. That’s all I know about the school. They aggressively recruit track runners from across the country. Not sure if they do that for other sports.

This same Bullis booster is at it again! We saw that and it is what has been discussed on 10 pages. It is fluff. Majority of Ivy acceptances are from the same 5 kids. Go look at Sidwell's list. They don't have to prove anything. NOT IN THE SAME LEAGUE. Get over it and go with the cheering at the football or track field. That is the only field they can came close to with Sidwell or any other Big 3 or Big 5.

What do you mean?

It is misleading because it isn’t showing where the kids are actually attending next year. I know for a fact that a few very bright kids got in multiple Ivy’s. It is about 4 kids total. Bullis got a influx of bright kids from public school during the pandemic. It is fade as the pandemic is over and these families see the price tag is not worth it.
