Read the charging documents. It was probably a plow to help identify her. She apparently shows her face in the nudes and the FBI used that to match against her FB profile.

Huh? Where does it say the identity of the agent?

The complaint mentions that the UC identified himself to her as a father. That could certainly have been untrue, but it doesn't really matter.

I read up a bit on pedophiles and what can be done. What I’ve read is mainly about men, because they are over 90%. It would have never occurred to me to worry about women too. So disturbing. Frankly, this is one of those issues were it isn’t socially acceptable to show up to your physician and say “I have a desire to abuse children.”

I totally agree. It’s well documented that majority of abusers have been abused.

On a related note, I know a guy who was arrested for being a “peeping Tom” at children. He was also a HS coach. He had a VERY strange dynamic with his mother and I always felt there had been some abuse there.
