Thanks for answering. DC wants to skip language for 11th and 12th and is worried about the potential impact on college admissions.

I was worried after reading this sight, but in my kid’s case, they filled those spots with classes that showed both rigor and passion for their future major, and I think that showed. That, and there was zero chance they were taking another year of Latin.

I read it as FCPS grades are inflated but PWC aren’t. Definitely didn’t read it as a slam against PWC.

Private school does not offer AP or IB, but kid took most challenging curriculum available.
