So your DC didn’t take a language in 11th or 12th? |
| Deferred oos, MD private |
And A&S admit, not even engineering? |
|
Accepted. In state from DC area private. 97.78/100 unweighted. 1490 SAT with plenty of activities.
Best of luck to all in this crazy process! |
| DD got in. In-State, white female, Prince William County, 4.6 GPA, 1530 SAT. |
Wow, 4.6GPA in PWC, must be the highest in school, almost! Congrats!
|
| Accepted FCPS 1580 4.0/4.5 14 APs. |
Correct. And yes, Arts & Sciences, not engineering. |
Congrats! |
Thanks for answering. DC wants to skip language for 11th and 12th and is worried about the potential impact on college admissions. |
No, there are others. God, people from Fairfax County are so insufferable. |
What does Fairfax have to do with Prince Willam county? |
| Any rejects? |
The pp made a snarky comment about getting a 4.6 in PWC. Hard to imagine anyone outside Fairfax County making a remark like that. |
I was worried after reading this sight, but in my kid’s case, they filled those spots with classes that showed both rigor and passion for their future major, and I think that showed. That, and there was zero chance they were taking another year of Latin. |
