Accepted. In state from DC area private. 97.78/100 unweighted. 1490 SAT with plenty of activities.

DD got in. In-State, white female, Prince William County, 4.6 GPA, 1530 SAT.

Thanks for answering. DC wants to skip language for 11th and 12th and is worried about the potential impact on college admissions.

The pp made a snarky comment about getting a 4.6 in PWC. Hard to imagine anyone outside Fairfax County making a remark like that.

I was worried after reading this sight, but in my kid’s case, they filled those spots with classes that showed both rigor and passion for their future major, and I think that showed. That, and there was zero chance they were taking another year of Latin.
