What’s “business development” ? Everybody works from home these days. What good is a concrete jungle of empty office buildings and crap public schools?

MOCO maintained its natural beauty better and has access to all the great privates.

There’s a reason why people are moving out of Maryland into Virginia. It’s not the 1990s anymore, which is what Maryland people are stuck in.

So now you want to compare an area of VA with the whole state of MD?

High schools win its academic 90 percent of the time
Has the best higher education community

MD would never be able to catch up. With county income tax, higher RE Taxes, higher crime, and SALT cap deduction, you are seeing that residents leaving in big numbers. Stop hoping for MD to turn around and invest in NoVA.

Returns in Stafford, Fredericksburg would beat any part of MD in the future.

Did you just completely ignore the whole discussion above showing that Maryland prices are higher than VA? It must be frustrating for you that despite your list of complaints Maryland is still the wealthiest state in the country!

did you know that NoVA isn't a state? It's still part of VA, the actual state. Did you also know that MD is a state and not just a small region within a state? Things you learn on dcum.

As an Asian person, with biracial children, I would not want to live in a town that has < 5% Asian population.

More people are leaving Maryland than Virginia. And for good reason. This is a fact.
