Military recruiting doesn’t worry me at all. |
There are men way older than 17 in any high school, they are called employees. What are you so worried about? The men in a 13 year old's home pose a greater threat to her than people at a school. |
Exact point some PPs are making that holding kids back so much leads to scenarios where students in the same grade will be more than year older than their peers. You wind up with 4th graders going through puberty. |
Turning 18 second semester is WAY different than being 19, and you know it. |
LOL, it should. |
Kids are turning 18 as early as September. Why do people keep posting this BS about kids not being 18 unless they are redshirted? Read the thread and stop puking up the same incorrect talking points. |
4th grade girls DO go through puberty. Why do you think that's not already happening? |
Er. No. 9 year old girls do NOT go through puberty. |
If it happens, it's because parents are inappropriately holding them back. None of my friends turned 18 until at least April of senior year. |
Um, yes they do. I was born in June and went to school on time. When I was in 4th-5th grade (I was age 9-10), some of my classmates were going through puberty. |
STFU. You are so annoying. In the many many places with a 9/1 cutoff many kids are turning 18. Nobody cares about your 2 friends who had an April birthday. |
You are...not good at math. The cut off is September so therefore any kids born between September-December will be turning 18 fall semester of senior year of high school. They are not held back/redshirted. They are sent on time and their birthday falls after the cut off but in the first semester of the school year. All your point proves is that you had friends whose birthdays happened to be in spring-summer instead of fall-winter. |
How do you get through life being so mind numbingly stupid? You're a joke. |
No kids are 13 in high school where I live (September 1 cut off and school starts after Labor Day so the youngest kids in a grade would turn 14 shortly before school starts going into 9th grade). |
| Send on time. I’m surprised a pre-k would even say that. It’s the parents’ choice. |
