Someone went onto his property and took the documents against his wishes without obtaining a search warrant?

The DOJ took the documents under similar circumstances. They chose not to raid Biden. But at the time of the raid at MaL, Trump's team was working out a time for a similar visit to what Biden got.

It's even worse that Biden doesnt even know he has classified documents at various locations. You see how that is worse, right? He cant secure them bc he doesnt even know-- if you believe him-- that he has them, since he apparently casually pockets classified documents and takes them home with enough regularity it doesnt lodge in his memory.

Because . . . . it is plausible someone else with clearance removed the docs (staff) or, you know, it was over 6 years ago. Do you remember everything you did 6 years ago? If so, kudos to you for being superior. I'm far younger than Biden and I can sometimes not remember things from last week, much less 6 years ago.

Thanks for the mansplain "calm down" dismissive response. I disagree. It matters. It matters enough that tons of folks on the DCUM forums call out the MAGA nuts who post conspiracy theories on the other side of the table (vaccines, Pelosi, Pizzagate, etc. etc.). But when it's a left wing conspiracy theory, it's "relax."

Doesn't mean I wory about millions of people every day. But yes, I think it matters to call them out in general without regard to political leaning.

They didn't need to because Biden cooperated. NARA had been going back and forth with Trump's team for months. Even when they did "cooperate" there was probable cause that they hadn't returned all the documents - which resulted in the search warrant executed at MaL (although the fact that you call it a "raid" makes me wonder why I'm bothering)

Biden didn’t have authority to take the documents. He didn’t lock them up. Trump messed up. Hillary messed up. So did Biden. And he is the one who allowed or directed his DOJ to raid the home of a former president for apparently doing what he has also done. This would have been an oops no big deal if Biden’s administration hadn’t blown it way out of proportion with Trump. But his administration did blow it way out proportion and so that big overblown chicken is coming back to roost in his garage next to the Corvette.

No, the FBI raided to obtain the documents that Trump REFUSED TO RETURN and defied multiple subpeonas. And it was absolutely right to do it. Regular people can't just defy subpeonas.
