They said it was classified documents.

I don’t think they charge him here. They got their documents back, it’s done. It takes balls to charge an ex president with basically document theft (which he could have declassified when he was President), Garland doesn’t have it in him.

Maybe TFG was planning to tell us all who really killed JFK! And the FBI has swooped in to take back the docs before Trump can self-publish the truth!

So Desantis knew about it and did not let Donald know.

I agree that just having classified documents (including military information or other nat sec info) doesn't seem to be worth the fuss. Depends on what he has done/will do with the information...

The problem seems to be that they didn't get their documents back.

Why would DeSantis know about this?

An FBI raid on a former president sets a dangerous precedent by implying the rule of law applies equally to everyone.

So Trump is an idiot savant multi-decade criminal mastermind mafia boss laundering money for foreign countries, selling national secrets, tax fraud, on and on and on… but the most they can get on him is some alleged document theft from his last few hours in the WH?

Got it.

What if there is evidence classified documents were shared illegally with third parties? Still "done?"
