Students from adjacent schools like Walter Johnson, Einstein, and BCC.

You keep posting this misinformation. It's been clearly stated for years now that Woodward is being reopened to relieve overcrowding at WJ and the DCC high schools.

The misuse of "misinformation," and overuse, is like nails on a chalkboard. Please write better, for example: "That's not correct." Misinformation denotes a malicious intent to trick people into believing falsities. It's different than just being wrong.

Yes, by shifting students from BCC to the new Woodward they can extend BCC's boundary eastward to reduce overcrowding at its adjacent DCC schools. It's not hard to understand.

The only DCC school remotely adjacent to BCC is Blair. Blair is overcrowded, but relieving the overcrowding there is the point of the expansion and renovation of Northwood. Einstein is also severely overcrowded, and moving kids out of BCC into Woodward does nothing to alleviate that overcrowding.

BCC is part of MCPS and its boundaries will be adjusted to contribute to both Woodward and reduce crowding in the DCC. This is obvious. They aren't going to not do this to make some bigoted parents happy.

BCC is not currently and is not projected to be overcrowded. WJ, Wheaton, and Einstein currently are and are projected to be even more so by the time Woodward opens.

BCC is fine with their kids sitting on a cell tower gas generator to watch lacrosse games. They will be perfect for Woodward.

If they live closer to Woodward they'd be Woodward kids not BCC kids. We're all for a neighborhood schools right?

The only part of the BCC zone that would be closer to Woodward than it is to BCC is the very northernmost bit, and that bit is actually closer to Einstein than it is to Woodward, or BCC.

I would think most of the Western third of Einstein's boundary is going to land at Woodward to help with overcrowding. BCC's recent addition probably reduced any overcrowding there for the time being but it's possible some minor changes to its northern boundary could indirectly help with overcrowding at other nearby schools. In the end, we really don't know how this will play out, but I don't think it's anything to stress about.

According to the CIP's projections, BCC will have around a hundred seats open for the next several years, zeroing out in 2031 or so, then having a deficit. MCPS isn't moving kids into BCC just to move them back out a few years later. Try again.

But the problem with that is the westernmost part of Einstein's boundary is the Rock View area, and the Einstein walk zone covers most of that area. They're not going to reassign students who are walkers to become bus riders. They will likely reassign those who are already bus riders to Einstein instead.

Does anyone know if more kids at Woodward are supposed to come from WJ or the DCC, or both in equal amount?

No one knows. That will all be figured out during the boundary study, which should begin sometime in 2024/25.

If the intent was to include BCC along with WJ and the DCC to populate Woodward, why would the plans never mention BCC? It wouldn’t need to be some kind of deep state secret.

Both Einstein and WJ are seriously overcrowded. Nobody can say what they'll do but if I had to guess 800-1000 will come from each of those schools. That also doesn't mean they won't shift some kids from other adjacent schools into WJ and Einstein also to help with overcrowding elsewhere. Again I'm just guessing and have no idea.
