Not always, just most often.

It seems much more likely that the husband’s work dealings got on the wrong side of someone. I doubt that this was the wife. Why does everyone want to blame the woman? Remember last summer with the young family that went hiking? If only people actually cared so much about new mothers.

Again, I say it is most likely the wife or a targeted hit. The odds are heavily in those directions.

Could it have been a random intruder? I mean, yeah, the possibility is still there.

I don't think it is woman hating to look at the most likely scenario in situations like this. Statistically speaking, a spouse is the most likely suspect.

This is all speculation until we get the answers. I'm not passing judgement on her - I don't know them so I have no personal info to go on. I only know the facts that have been released and giving the most likely scenarios based on the crime stats we know as a general public.

I don't understand. https://www.charitynavigator.org/ein/471630253

Doesn't that mean it's nonprofit?

Nope. Sure, they might have a foundation but even on the company's website it says
2 Legal Structure
DonorSee is set up as an LLC and not a 501c3. When an organization is setup as a 501c3, they are subject to overbearing regulations that make effective aid nearly impossible, especially on a project-by-project basis like our system. By setting ourselves up as an LLC, we are able to quickly send your dollars to urgent situations without having the money first pass through an expensive and unnecessary legal team. Further reasons for our legal structure choice can be found on our CEO's blog.

“ According to police radio audio obtained by WTTG, a dispatcher told responding officers the 911 caller, Gret's wife Heather Glyer, said "she heard a loud noise and believes her husband has been shot ... She believes someone came into the house."

The station reports that a neighbor told police they'd heard three shots.”

I'm not "blaming the wife" but in these situations it's usually the spouse or another intimate partner.

I mean for sure I have no idea if this is a grift or not but if the purpose of the organization is to make microgrants, this could be very valid. It's hard for nonprofits to make grants directly to individuals or companies that aren't also tax exempt.

Ridiculous.

It's probably the same nut job who posted the same theory on the thread about the lady who vanished by the canal.

This is by far the least likely scenario.

??? I thought she was in bed with him at the time? Although very early in this someone told me that she was in another part of the house. I subsequently didn't hear that again so I assumed the first person was incorrect. Maybe it is turning out to be correct, though, that she wasn't in the room? Either way it is a horror story.

Those poor little kids. It is very hard to get over a parent dying but to have your parent killed, while you are in the house, that's extraordinarily scary for anyone but especially children. The person responsible for keeping you safe was killed while you were there... Very traumatizing.

You have no way to know that’s the truth!

+1 This could be a Pamela Smart situation so she and her kids weren’t in any danger.

This is my concern. It is very odd that she told the 911 dispatcher that she heard a “loud noise” and she was “afraid her husband had been shot.” It sounds like she had neither seen an intruder nor him before she hid in the first floor bathroom to call 911. Making no attempt to see or save your family amidst a life threatening situaton is odd, but not indicative of guilt. If she has zero involvement, the police delay is likely because they are trying to rule it out.

No one ever said she was in bed with him at the time. I think that may have been someone’s assumption.

I’m a little wary. This guy was working at rental car company before DS, yet live in a $1M house in their early 30s/late 20s??

A “friend” has tweeted that she was in bed with him when it happened. Why on earth a friend was tweeting any information makes no sense, but Could have been a misunderstanding.

Hold your horses, I think they live in 9804; probably renting.
