LMAO, Tucker. Even for you, this line of logic is quite a reach. I really recommend you slink back to the Virginia boards. You don't get your a$$ handed to you as often there. Probably better for your self-esteem |
A virus spread by the careless rich? A lot of words when saying “I’m a clown and have a lot of nonsense to spew” would have sufficed. |
Translation: I've been owned again. It's possible I come here because I enjoy the feeling. |
The virus came to this country through cruise ships and European ski vacations in the winter of 2020. I know you like to try and blame immigrants at "the border" because that feeds your dimwitted base, and also because your from one of those families whose history in this country is still short enough that you have a lot of self-consciousness about just how "American" you are... But those are your issues, sweetie. They don't have anything to do with COVID. |
Haven't been right yet? Covid isn't going away. That's more clear now than it's ever been. Agonize all you want over that. Complain about masks, or vaccines, schools reopening, or bars/restaurants. It doesn't really matter. If it wasn't clear to you before, it should be clear to you now that there was never a plausible path to eradicating Covid. Vaccines came sooner than expected, and have done remarkably well. Remember when 50% protection was going to be considered a success? I know the media threw around words like herd immunity and allowed people to think a measles-like end to the pandemic was near. But that was never a realistic ending. Our current situation has always been the best outcome: a disease that poses minimal risk to people willing to get vaccinated, and that whose more severe outcomes primarily target people who are already close to death. |
No one here said anything about eradicating COVID. Except you. Who said, "I don't have to do anything to mitigate infections for me or anyone else because Covid is forever. Grow up." Well, the thing is, Patrick Bateman, most of us have. That's why we wear masks, use air purifiers, and try and not expose our families or infect others with exciting new strains of COVID!!! In the middle of a deluge, you don't know how it's going to end, but you still seek shelter. If you're sane. I mean, if you're YOU, you start blaming all those greedy immigrants at the border, but like I said, that's really just about your family issues, isn't it? |
I’m not posting about immigrants. BTW, this current variant has nothing to do with 2020. And it always spread thru all natural of border crossings (county, state, and federal). You are wildly simple-minded. |
And if the rain is never going to end, you learn to swim. That's what you can't seem to grasp. Covid is never going to end. |
You’ve managed to make not wearing masks even more enjoyable. It’s amusing how bothered you are by all this. Enjoy feeling this way the rest of your natural life. |
It can get better if people like you would cooperate. |
NP Owned by a word salad of some select articles? I think you and I have a different definition of owned. |
Go easy on her please. She’s clearly hysterical. She needs pity more than anything else. |
It IS better. It’s a lot better than it was. It’s probably as good as it’s going to get. If you can’t accept that (as the overwhelming majority of us have), I’m not sure what else there is to say. |
No, not in any sort of sustained way. Get your vaccinations when you’re eligible- that’s about the only sustainable thing we can do that will do any good. |
100% agree. I know people with long flu, long Lyme, and my child has long RSV. Yes, for children, covid is like the flu.. arguably the actual real flu is worse. We under react to the flu and, at this point with vaccines and therapeutics, we over react to covid in this area. |
