“During winter” doesn’t mean much and a loss is a loss.

They do not mirror each other or are similar if one cannot beat the other two during the season. In fact, Stars almost went a whole season without beating anyone.

What I’m trying to correct here is your insistence on finishing other girls because unfortunately the team your DD plays for is objectively not very good. Stop trying to tear everyone down.

It's not so much a debate but giving out information to maybe those looking around at clubs and not in the "know" of what is out there. Basically there's a large gap of the top teams and then everyone else in both the NGLL A and B divisions. The problem is that everyone wants to compete with M and D and Hero’s immediately. This will happen eventually, but not when they are in sixth grade. However, playing these top teams now will pay off in the long run as Stars and Pride will catch up in eighth grade. Then, it is more of an even field. Then, when you get to mint and tenth graders, which is when it ACTUALLY matters, these are competitive games for college coaches to watch

So, stop stressing over who is winning now, and just focus on hearing your daughter better now so they can compete in high school at Capital and Pride

And, unless this is an anomaly of a year, but Next Level girls will all leave for other teams eventually. But I hope I’m wrong for them

Looks like the comments were made a few weeks ago claiming that two NL players were the best at their position in the country. To me it is clearly a troll. Some folks bit though.

This may have been the case a few years ago, but this is no longer the case or going to happen with the younger teams from Pride or Stars. Pride and Stars had a good run this year at the 26 age level but that's about it. The Pride 27 team is good but will see how they fair. None of the 26 or 27 Pride teams made it to the NGLL championship games. Stars 27 and below are B teams at best. If these are the 2 main programs feeding Capital, how will those Capital teams fair? This sounds like a good story for 5 years ago but not in the present.

Does anyone know the specific strengths of Pride, Stars and NL? I’ve seen a lot of discussion about their lackluster performance in the NGLL this year but they must have some pretty good players to even be in the A Division. Also curious to know if all are strong at a particular position what tryouts for Capital might look like in 2 years. I know not everyone will remain in the current positions come high school.

Here is the deal. Everyone thinks their team needs to be number one. The problem is that M and D and Hero’s always dominates when they are in elementary school and middle school. Then, when they all get to high school, it all evens out. Everyone needs to stop worrying about their team being the best and just let the girls enjoy the game. Because if you don’t, they won’t want to keep playing it
